Tokyo typo promo
Here i experiment with using letters and symbols to create shapes and graphic elements. I created a poster and two postcard representing Tokyo. The poster uses a modified version of the Japanese symbol for person, in this case it represents Mt. Fuji which is not located in Tokyo but visible and an important part of Tokyo's skyline. This was also translate into a postcard.

The second postcard is representing a Geisha, an important part of Japanese culture. The geisha's face is created using different symbols found on your keyboard.

The last postcard represents the wooden gates that you can see throughout different shrines and other entryways.
